  • Graduate

So, as of March 30th I am officially a graduate of CSB. I completed my studies and internship. Because the job market is so tough right now, I have yet to find anything. I'll always have the degree to fall back on I suppose. It's just really rough right now. I still work at the convenience store, so it's not like I'm completely jobless.

Saturday I'm having a graduation party for the other girls in the class, but only 2 people want to come... so, it'll be small. I'm considering opening it up for others just to make it worthwhile....

Anyway, that's what's been up with me.

  • On Saturday, my mom and I went to New York City on a bus trip with a church.

I was never really impressed with the city, and certainly am less so now that I've really been there.
We ate in Little Italy- and they weren't kidding when they call it "little." I was thoroughly disappointed- Chinatown pretty much took over and I had no desire to be there. So we walked over to Soho and caught the bus to the WTC site. Since it was a rainy and basically crappy day we didn't get to see much, even when we hopped the bus to head back to Times Square.

Anyway, I'm uploading some pictures to myspace, which is taking an eternity on our connection, so maybe I'll get some over here eventually- but if you know my myspace, you'll be able to see some of them there.

  • This week marks the end of my first full term as a CSB student.

I wish I had better news to report about it, but my mood isn't one of good news. That's not to say that good news doesn't exist.
I've done really well in all of my classes, I've just been getting irritated with some people. Particularly one teacher. But, at the moment I'm trying really hard to keep it to myself  and tolerate it. I supposed I'd be a crybaby if I said anything about it- it'd be unprofessional, because-let's face it- you're always going to run into people that you have a hard time dealing with. But, I really don't think that I'm this teacher's favorite person either, someone else seems to hold that title, and I don't really care. So, you tolerate it.
But between work, commuting, and school, I'm pulling a 70-hour week- so I guess irritability is bound to come along at some point...

About Me

  • There's not a whole lot to say. I'm attending the Consolidated School of Business for Legal Administrative. I'm still working full-time, but things are going to be changing while I earn my degree. I'm terrified and excited at the same time. I live at home and help take care of my dad who suffers from a severe brain injury. Anything else you might care to know about me will be found through reading my page.
